The Kiwanis Club of Kingston is proud to welcome you to the 41st running of the Kiwanis Kingston Classic. Once again, Kiwanis will host the Classic bringing the run back to the Kingston Community as a family-friendly run. This year's event will be held completely in Kingston's Rondout (historic waterfront) section.

Once again, there will be a 10K, 5K, and a 1.5-mile walk/run. Join fellow runners for fun, camaraderie, and a great day, The event features a great post race party complete with food, beer, ice cream, and music. The Kingston Kiwanis Club offers a Book for Kids swag program, instead of giving each runner a finishers medal for each entrant the Kiwanis Club donated a book to a child.  What could be better than an affordable well organized event with a great post-race party and books for children. There will be awards for all 3 races.

In Memory of Joe Fay

This past year, we lost a longtime friend of the community and Kiwanian Joe Fay. Joe was instrumental in bringing the Kingston Classic and Kingston Kiwanis together and volunteered year after year to make the race successful. Joe will always be considered the “heart” of the Kingston Classic for his commitment, passion, and action to the community. He will truly be missed, and this year’s race is in honor of all he did for the race, Kingston Kiwanis, and the entire community. A scholarship will be awarded to a local student in his honor this year. If you would like to contribute to the fund an optional donation link has been added to the registration page.

Start Time: 

The 10k and 5k go off together at 10am and the 1.5 mile at 10:15am

Entry Fees:

Online Pre-registration is $25 for the 5K & 10K and $15 for the 1.5 mile

Race Day Registration: $30 for the 5K & 10K and $20 for the 1.5 mile

Gender specific shirts are available to those that register before April 1st

To Register a Team:

Click on CREATE TEAM below. The first registrant will be considered the "captain" and will create the team and choose a password. Once the team is created, individual team members must register themselves by clicking on JOIN A TEAM and entering the password given to them by their team captain. Individual team members will be required to pay their own entry fee. Team members are also eligible for individual awards.
