Join us for the ROI 5k—an energizing, feel-good way to start your morning while supporting the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) - the ASTRO Foundation.
 
Whether you're a runner or a relaxed walker, this fun, non-competitive 5k offers two flexible ways to participate:
  • Join our sunrise group run along the San Francisco Bay at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30.
  • Complete a DIY 5k at your convenience, using scenic routes uploaded to Strava (or your favorite route anywhere in the city).
 
All participants receive:
  • Great ROI swag
  • Access to curated 5k routes in iconic San Francisco
  • An invitation to the in-person group run
Registration Fees:
  • $40 | May 15 – June 26
  • $45 | June 27 – August 14
  • $50 | August 15 – Race Day (September 30)
Create or join a team—or go solo! Either way, you’ll be helping to advance bold, innovative research in radiation oncology.
 

Please Note: The ROI 5k is now a fun run/walk format. It is not officially timed and will not take place on a closed course. Local runners will lead pace groups, and all participants must follow local traffic laws.
