These races are HARD.
The Froggy Five is on difficult trail and has a few sections that require using your hands to scramble up rocks.
The 13.1M is 80% dirt road/20% pavement - with about 1,400 feet of elevation gain.
Expect to average 1 to 2 minutes slower per mile than your 'normal' road half marathon pace.
Please be physically prepared to assume full responsibility for yourself. It will be HOT. The courses are BRUTAL. It's possible that these courses are harder than anything you ever run on if you've only run on paved, relatively flat roads. This is NOT for everyone. We just want to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.
