Welcome to the Run 4 The River Half Marathon!

Initially launched in 2020 as a low-key event that ran along the Mohawk and Hudson rivers, and kicked up a notch in 2021, this year we're kicking things up several notches to provide you with an awesome experience utilizing the fast and net downhill Empire Trail from Rotterdam to Schenectady, a post race party with live music, and more!

General Logistics/Bus Transport
This is a downhill point-to-point race that starts at Mabee Farm and finishes at Frog Alley Brewing in Schenectady. Parking is available at both the start and finish. You are encouraged to carpool/spot cars with a friend. We are also providing an optional shuttle (bus) service to the start from the finish for $10 per person. This bus option will operate from 6:45AM until 7:20AM.

Gear Check
Gear check will be available at the start line. You will be provided a bag (big enough to fit a pair of shoes, change of clothes, and other small items) that will be brought to the finish line.

Packet Pick-up

• Friday, 9/2: 6am to 1pm AND 4pm to 6pm at Nark Running Strategies (21A Railroad Ave, Albany, NY 12205 [same address as ARE Event Productions]).
• Saturday, 9/3: 7AM until 7:45AM at the Start Line

Elite Athletes
Complimentary entry is available to participants who have achieved any of the following time standards since 1/1/2019:
Female: 18:00 for 5K, 1:20:00 for 13.1M, 2:53:00 for 26.2M
Male: 15:30 for 5K, 1:11:00 for 13.1M, 2:35:00 for 26.2M
