On September 6th 2018 Liana gave the most precious gift; the gift of life.  She will always be a hero to five people who may not have been here today if it weren't for her generous donation. 

Once again I'm participating in the 5K Legacy Walk to honor Liana's life, her gift of life, and to bring awareness to the importance of organ donation.  The last hours of Liana's life she lay in a coma while some pretty awesome people from the Center for Donation & Transplant worked tirelessly around the clock finding matches for her organs.  It came down to the wire but they finally found a match for her heart, I just knew she would not leave until then because her beautiful heart was destined to keep beating.
