Back for More Cash
Dear close friend/regular friend/family member/coworker/former enemy, current friend,
As you may recall, last year I overcame a diagnosis...of achilles tendonitis in the nick of time to successfully complete a 5k. I won't sugar coat it, it probably set my rehab back weeks. But now is not the time to dwell on the past! I've been rebuilt, I've been training hard, and I am CHAMPING at the bit to take down another 5k for a great cause.
Where do you come in? I'd love for you to give me/So Others Might Eat some of your sweet, sweet cash! Last year YOUR generosity helped cut a check for more than $1500 to So Others Might Eat, an organization that serves those experiencing homelessness and poverty in the District.
Give a little, give a lot, don't give anything--I don't know your life! Do what's right for you. There's a 5k or whatever, but who cares. If you want to see me run, we can set that up for a small fee as well.
