America's Trot for Hunger - Supporting SOME
Hello Friends and Family!
Again this year, I am participating in the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot to raise money for SOME's critical programs to support those facing hunger and homelessness in the greater DC area. This year, SOME has rebranded the event, so now it's called America's Trot for Hunger. The event follows the same course. I'll have to report back about ways the rebranding has changed the event. Proceeds allow SOME to provide services for thousands of families and single adults experiencing homelessness, by providing access to food, clothing, healthcare, employment training, and long-term comprehensive addiction treatment programs.
So far this year, my friends and family have donated $2,400.00! We still have a 5 days before Thanksgiving. We're getting close to beating the personal record of $2,507.00 that we set last year. Will you help us?
Tax deductible donations can be made directly on this page using a credit or debate card, or via PayPal or Venmo. Checks may be made payable to America's Trot for Hunger with a team or participant's name in the memo line and mailed to:
