Be a part of SOUL RYEDERS Half Marathon / 5K event on May 18th!

The SOUL RYEDERS Half Marathon & 5K is an annual event to support our organization's ability to provide personalized mental and emotional comfort and connection to anyone in the NY Tri-State area affected by any type of cancer. 100% of all monies raised by this event enable us to provide these service AT NO COST to our clients and their caregivers.

Our fundraising goal for 2025 is $150,000. If every participant commits to raising $100 each we can make this a reality!

SOUL RYEDERS is committed to providing a space for all genders, races, abilities, ages, and backgrounds through this event. We are focused on the health and well-being of all our participants to come together for a day to achieve individual goals and create a connected community of awareness while honoring those affected by cancer.

Half Marathon Run: open to anyone 12 years of age or older. Our Half Marathon has a time limit of 3 hours 30 minutes which requires approximately a 16-minute-per-mile pace. 

5K Run/Walk: open to all ages and abilities.
 

Virtual Race: Run a timed or untimed Half Marathon or Run/Walk a 5K from your neighborhood, local park, or wherever you are during the month. 
 

Your registration fee covers:

• Timing bib & chip
• Custom finisher medal
• Performance event t-shirt*/**
• Snacks & drinks post-race
• Custom event photos

*Virtual participants may choose to have their t-shirt mailed to them or collect at packet pickup. 

**Please note that all registrations after May 1st are subject to receiving their race shirt and medal post race. 

A DAY OF ACTION!
We hope all of our participants will consider helping us make this event a day of action by donating themselves or creating a fundraising page to raise money to support SOUL RYEDERS’ mission of supporting anyone affected by any type of cancer. You will receive a customizable fundraising page to inspire friends and family to join you in participating or to support you with a tax-deductible donation. Help us reach our goal of $150,000!

What are teams and should I form one?
You can form a team with family and friends as a way to connect and support each other AND fundraise together to support SOUL RYEDERS. Create your team during registration (you will need a team name and captain.)

Virtual Races

• $50 (either distance)
• Option to have your shirt & medal shipped (additional fee)
